Public Meetings

Technical Review Committee Meetings

TRC meetings will be announced here. The TRC meets quarterly to review the status of the Annex investigation and proposed clean up. The meetings have become less formal and are now held in the evenings to allow community members to attend.

TRC meetings are open to the public and FOCUS encourages everyone to attend and ask questions of the Army, EPA, State Department of Environmental Protection, and their consultants. Public participation in these meetings is very important to monitoring the clean up process.

Public Documents Notice

The Army periodically places documents in the Annex information repositories located in each town's public library. We will post notice of these documents as we receive notice of their availability.

Final Addendum Report Site/Remedial Investigation

This report has undergone revision since the Draft Final version first came out in April. Appendix C, the human health and environmental risk assessments that have been rewritten in response to comments madeon the Draft Final version.

Draft Technical Memorandum

Date: September 1995
Sites: A2, P2, & P39
Public Review Ends: November 10, 1995
This document describes alternative disposal and remedial actions for the above sites. The alternative proposed is to consolidate soil from these Areas at A7 as a sub-base under the landfill cap to be constructed at A7. Discusses legal aspects of the plan.

Draft Action Memorandum

Date: September 1995
Sites: A1, A2, P2, and P39
Public Review Ends: November 10, 1995
Documents the decisions to perform non-time critical removal actions at the above four sites.
